The Advanced Defence Intelligence Officers’ Course (ADIOC) is a 9 week course designed to produce officers capable of taking up higher intelligence responsibilities and staff appointments. On completion of the course, participants should possess in-depth knowledge of intelligence management at higher level and be exposed to the rudiment of intelligence analysis. Eligibility for the course are officers of Grade Levels 12 & 13 OR Maj/Lt Cols and equivalents.

Objectives
The ADIOC aims to:

  1. Improve the analytical skills of officers in all aspects of intelligence.
  2. Broaden officer’s knowledge in the determination of the place of intelligence in policy and conflict situations.
  3. Enhance officers’ understanding of the coordination machinery of intelligence at the national and international level.
  4. Improve officers’ knowledge and skills in the operation and management of the intelligence process.
